How to make your editorial plan effective
1- Start from the target.
The fundamental point of your business is to identify your audience, the people you can turn to. Only in this way can you set up the right communication for your business.
2- Define the goal.
What do you want to communicate? It is the phase of planning your content.
My advice is to follow the SMART method Create goals that are S pecific, Misurabili, Accessibili seen as realistic, Rilevanti for your business and set in time.
3-Choose your style.
Once we have decided who to talk to, what to say and why to communicate, the time has come to decide how to do it. Choose your tone of voice based on your audience and on your personality. You can communicate in a warmer and more welcoming tone or with a more imperative and angular one. It just depends on you.
For the creation of my editorial plan I decided to use a paper support which is, still today, the means by which I manage to organize ideas in a structured way. The calendar that I use, besides programming when and what to publish, allows me to choose in advance the keywords that I want to insert in the text. Also I can decide on which platform to share the article in order to easily reach my audience.
